A cold wind blew as Balto stood up on his paws. He didn't know how he got here or what his purpose was. He had arrived in what appeared to be some sort of mountain range. He began to run across the plain, making his way north. He wasn't sure what he would find there, but he knew it would have some answers. The days went by as Balto trekked onward, now finding himself in a harsh and scorching hot desert. He breathed and coughed slightly as the blasting heat from the sun began to weigh down on him. His vision became blurred and he felt exhaustion take hold, "No...." He told himself, "I can't give up now...... got to...." He couldn't finish his sentence as he suddenly collapsed and darkness was all he could see.
